Disclosures

This policy is valid from 08 October 2009

This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. This blog does not accept any form of cash advertising, sponsorship, or paid topic insertions. However, I will and do accept and keep review copies/ARCs from publishers, publicists, and authors.

This blog abides by word of mouth marketing standards. I believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity. The books I review on the blog are a mixture of library books, purchases, Scholastic book order rewards, review copies courtesy of the publisher, unsolicited books from the publisher, review copies courtesy of authors, ARCs, and both review copies and ARCs from conferences.  Not all books are reviewed and I make no guarantees as to a review timeline.  Books are not guaranteed a positive review and I do post negative reviews sometimes.  More often, I do not finish reading books that I feel are not worth my time.  After books are reviewed they are donated to classroom libraries.

The owner(s) of this blog is not compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the blog owners. If I claim or appear to be experts on a certain topic or product or service area, I will only endorse products or services that I believe, based on my expertise, are worthy of such endorsement. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider. This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.

In my reviews, I link to Amazon via Amazon Affiliate.  Each purchase made from a link on my blog earns me a very small commission which is then used to purchase more books for classroom libraries in my district.
