How did I miss this? (Thanks, Jen!) The title for the fifth Percy Jackson book has been revealed!
Percy Jackson and THE LAST OLYMPIAN will be published on May 9, 2009. I am so excited! There is no cover yet, but more information will be released over the coming weeks. Percy was a huge favorite in my room last year,so I know there will be a lot of fans excited to hear this news. Thanks, Rick!

Oh! I’ve only read the first three. I’m kind of rationing myself though, at this point, because the first three were so, so good, and I don’t want to be brought up short knowing that more haven’t been written. (Have learned my lesson from Harry Potter.)
YES! I am so looking forward to the fifth book. The first four are so good. I am still on number four.

I am counting the days (weeks, months, whatever!). I didn’t realise there was no 5th one so I’ve spent the last three months looking for it everywhere!! Sigh. I hope there is a movie….

OH! EM! GEE! I love this series! I’ve been thinking they need to make movies for the series and there you go! :-)) My only problem here is the casting. some of the people are just not right for the character they’ve been cast as. for example Alexandra Daddario isn’t a good Annabeth. These people are supposed to be kids…like 13 year old kids…not 20 year olds. She looks too old plus she just doesn’t look Annabeth. I also don’t like who they chose for Hades, Persephone, Chiron, and Hera. They’re just not right for those parts. I don’t care though!! I love the series so I’m going to see the movie no matter what
