That’s right, it’s time for the second giveaway in my birthday month!

TWENTY BOY SUMMER

Don’t worry, Anna. I’ll tell her, okay? Just let me think about the best way to do it.”
“Okay.”
“Promise me? Promise you won’t say anything?”
“Don’t worry.” I laughed. “It’s our secret, right?”

According to her best friend Frankie, twenty days in Zanzibar Bay is the perfect opportunity to have a summer fling, and if they meet one boy ever day, there’s a pretty good chance Anna will find her first summer romance.  Anna lightheartedly agrees to the game, but there’s something she hasn’t told Frankie—she’s already had that kind of romance, and it was with Frankie’s older brother, Matt, just before his tragic death one year ago.

Beautifully written and emotionally honest, this is a debut novel that explores what it truly means to love someone and what it means to grieve, and ultimately, how to make the most of every single moment this world has to offer.

Listen to Sarah Ockler talk about her newest novel.

  2. Hi Sarah,

Loved the interview with the author. Can’t wait to read this one.

I followed you on Twitter about the Tony Awards. I am so jealous. I’m not sure how this Florida girl became a Broadway geek, but that is what I’ve become. Did I miss the post about how you got tickets? Did you really walk the red carpet? Heading to NYC in July. Can’t decide what to see; Hair, Wicked, Jersey Boys, Rock of Ages, God of Carnage??

    Happy Birthday!!
    Michele

    • Michele-

They sell a limited number of mezzanine tickets the morning the nominations are announced. It was actually my 2nd time attending!

Oh man, those are great choices! WICKED is outstanding. JERSEY BOYS is outstanding. I am seeing ROCK of AGES in July and have heard great things. And my best friend saw HAIR- unreal experience and indescribable theater, she said.

    • Hi again Sarah,
I realized that I forgot to include my email address.
