The new Common Core Standards will bring an influx of literary nonfiction into the classroom. We are also experiencing a STEM crisis in the US. So how can we, as English teachers, embrace STEM topics without losing the literature we love? Explore ways to include STEM topics and readings in the classroom alongside literature and writing.
