Announcing the Second Annual Book Blogger Appreciation Week
September 14-18, 2009
I wanted to let you know about the announcement of this year’s Book Blogger Appreciation Week! Somehow, I missed out on the celebration last year, but I promised myself I wouldn’t make that mistake again.
This year, the celebration will be held September 14th through the 18th. If you are a book blogger and want to register, you can do that on the website below:

Tomorrow they will be starting nominations for this year’s book blogger awards.
Are you a book blogger? Be sure to register by filling out the registration form! Registering ensures your inclusion in the BBAW 09 Database of Book Bloggers and enters you into the drawing for the BBAW 09 Grand Prize!

I just found you on by looking for something on the web. I wanted to say hi. I thought I knew all the book blogging community. When I came upon your blog I saw a new set of names of blogs. I will have to search them out and visit new bloggers. I want to thank you.
Have a great night.
Susan at Carolina Gal’s Lliterary Cafe.
I’ve been writing a monthly column which started this past January, concerning the business of books and working in the service of supporting quality fiction. It’s an adjunct to our main preoccupation, which we’ve been engaged in for the past 31 years: publishing quality fiction as an award-winning small press — The Permanent Press — doing one release every month. That website is http//.www.thepermanentpress.com
Susan:
When I filled out “name,” I originaally listed my given name, not my blogsite name, as most others have done. And so I enter this once more.
Wearing two hats–as blogger and publisher–there are also two different sites (the blog being http://www.thecockeyed pessimist.com, and the publishing website being http://www.thepermanentpress.com).
Just adding all this in order to avoid confusion.
