Today has not been a good day, professionally. Needless to day, I am all over the place and couldn’t get anything down on paper for my poem. Anything I did get down, I didn’t feel comfortable sharing over the internet.
Sometimes
life just doesn’t go the way you want.
But
when one door closes,
a window should open.
Even
if it takes a while
to find your way to that window.

I’m sorry you’re not having a good day and hope the weekend brightens for you. I like your poem. Simple and clear, frustration flashes out of it … but so does optimism. Nice.
refreshing thoughts.
what optimism!
Remember what Roosevelt said:
“When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on.”
